Μ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΟΥ ΠΟΛΕΜΩΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓ Diademed head of Polemo II to right. Rev. ΙΟΥΛΙΑΣ ΜΑΜΑΙΑΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ Diademed and draped bust of Julia Mamaea to right. Kovacs 298. RPC I 3844. Extremely rare - the fifth and finest known example. Nicely centered on a broad flan and with interesting portraits, clear and well-struck. Traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
